每日大赛网址首页进入 (CvSU) once again proved its excellence in teacher education after achieving remarkable results in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) for both the Elementary and Secondary Levels.

Several CvSU campuses recorded passing rates significantly higher than the national average, earning recognition among the country鈥檚 top-performing schools.

For the Elementary Level, CvSU Main Campus proudly secured a place among the Top 10 performing schools nationwide with an impressive 95.06% passing rate.

For the Secondary Level, CvSU Imus Campus ranked among the Top 3 performing schools nationwide after posting an outstanding 98.36% passing rate, while CvSU Silang Campus earned a spot among the Top 7 performing schools with a 96.97% passing rate.

Adding to this remarkable achievement, six CvSU graduates emerged as topnotchers in the March 2026 LEPT:

WURI is a ranking system that assesses the societal and industry contributions of higher education institutions (HEIs), with focus on their innovative approaches to education, research, and society.

From ranking in two categories in its first WURI entry in 2024, the University is now among the Global Top 50 innovative universities in the following areas: 15th in Inclusive Social Innovation for the Underserved (C6); 18th in Social Impact through Knowledge Transfer (C5); 26th in Ethics and Integrity (A6) and University-Based Entrepreneurial Projects (C7); 38th in Industrial Application (A3); 42nd in Visionary Leadership (B1); 43rd in Interdisciplinary, Convergent, and Integrated Research (C2); and 46th in Crisis Management (A5).

The CvSU Main Campus registered an overall performance rating of 57.58% (19/33), while the CCAT Campus posted 75.93% (41/54) in the Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination (REELE).

Jan Joseph Belen Lopez also made it to the top eight successful examinees in the REELE with a passing rate of 92.50%.

Morevover, the CvSU Main and CCAT campuses both recorded an overall performance rating of 60% in the Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination (RMELE).

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 3,769 out of 6,556 passed the REELE (57.49% national passing rate) while 493 out of 882 passed the RMELE (35.05% national passing rate) given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

This nationwide search highlights the sustainable and eco-friendly programs that are integrated into educational institutions鈥 operations, curriculum, and student activities. It also aims to encourage the active and sustained participation of students, faculty members, and administrators in environmental issues, fostering an in-depth understanding and behavioral change within the academic community.听

OIC Assistant Secretary for Environment and concurrent EMB Director Jacqueline A. Caancan, CESO III and EMB CALABARZON Regional Director Robert Angelo Metin led the national awarding ceremonies held on April 22, 2026 at Seda Vertis North Hotel in Quezon City.听

CvSU officials received the prestigious Recognition of Excellence Award (College Category), Luntiang Puso Sustainability Award (Champion 鈥 College Category), and Water Leadership Award (College Category), together with PhP100,000 cash prize and electronic devices for the University.听

The Water Leadership Award is given to educational institutions that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to water conservation and management as integrated in their school operations. The selection for this award is based on established water-saving programs, rainwater harvesting initiatives, wastewater treatment or recycling efforts, and other creative solutions for water management. Moreover, the initiatives are judged based on program plans and implementation including monitoring and evaluation, economic sustainability, presence of environmental partners and linkages, and gender equality and social inclusion.听听

Meanwhile, the Luntiang Puso Sustainability Champion Award is a special recognition that highlights the “heart” of the NSSEFS, specifically conferred upon the institution that achieved the highest overall rating among the top five finalists per category.听

The 每日大赛网址首页进入 (CvSU), through its Innovations and Technology Support Office (ITSO), was honored with its fifth Platinum Award and first Palladium Award from the听Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL)during the ITSO Presidents鈥 Summit and General Assembly held on March 25, 2026, at the Diversion 21 Hotel in Iloilo City.

The University is the first higher education institution in the Southern Tagalog Region to receive the Palladium Award — the highest honor bestowed by the IPOPHL to top-performing ITSOs. This award recognizes those that have consistently demonstrated excellence, specifically by qualifying for the Platinum Award for five consecutive years or by securing a patent in a foreign country.

During the event, CvSU was also awarded a special citation for patents and trademarks.

The awarding was attended by CvSU President Dr. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro; Dr. Melbourne R. Talactac, Vice President for Research, Innovation and Extension; Dr. Agnes C. Francisco, Director of Knowledge Management Center (KMC); Dr. Teddy F. Tepora, Head of Intellectual Property and Technology Management Division and ITSO Manager; Mr. Gerald T. Viado, ITSO Technical staff; and Ms. Lecel Mojica, Executive Assistant of the University President.

With this year鈥檚 theme 鈥15 years of Strengthening the Philippine TISCs: Innovation and Creativity Toward Sustainable Technology Transfer,鈥 the ITSO Presidents鈥 Summit is a high-level gathering for Presidents and institutional heads intended to highlight leadership, strategic direction, and strengthened partnership with IPOPHL.

This activity also recognizes ITSOs with exemplary contributions to innovation, intellectual property (IP) filings, and technology transfer.

In 2015, CvSU’s ITSO officially became part of the IPOPHL network. In 2017, the ITSO was institutionalized and established as a dedicated unit within the university’s KMC.

The CvSU ITSO has evolved significantly since its establishment, becoming a key driver of IP and innovation at the University, culminating in its repeated receipt of the highest national awards.

Through these years, the University鈥檚 ITSO has demonstrated a commitment to fostering innovation and protecting intellectual property, consistently receiving national recognition from the IPOPHL for its performance and output. Achieving an 82.14% overall passing percentage, CvSU ranked seventh in the list of top performing schools (with 20 or more examinees) in the March 2026 Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination (EELE) with a national passing rate of 61.62%.

We also take pride in the success of Ms. Pearl Anne T. Richards as one of the third highest placers in the March 2026 Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination (ETLE) after garnering a 92% passing rate.

CvSU recorded an 88% overall performance rating in the ETLE with a national passing rate of 78.16%.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 1,692 out of 2,746 examinees passed the EELE, while 1,907 out of 2,440 hurdled the ETLE given by the Board of Electronics Engineering in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga in March 2026.

The 每日大赛网址首页进入 (CvSU) Research Center and the College of Agriculture, Food, Environment, and Natural Resources (CAFENR) officially turned over the seagrass data of Cavite to local government and environment officials, reflecting its commitment to promote data-driven policy making by providing scientific data through research to its stakeholders.

CvSU officials led the turnover of the results of the University鈥檚 seagrass research studies to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) – Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Cavite and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Maragondon during a ceremony themed 鈥淩ooted in Data, Safeguarding Cavite鈥檚 Seagrass Ecosystem鈥 held at the University Interdisciplinary Research Building, March 19, 2026.

This undertaking also highlighted the importance of partnerships among universities, national agencies, and local governments in addressing environmental issues and challenges.

In a special message, Dr. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro, University President, underscored the University鈥檚 pivotal role in the formulation of sustainable policies.

Mr. Glenn Bryan A. Creencia, CvSU鈥檚 designated Faculty Researcher, then presented the outcomes of the seagrass research initiatives undertaken by the University. Seagrasses provide various ecosystem services, including food and habitat for many organisms. Additionally, they play a crucial role in oxygen production and carbon sequestration, making them essential in mitigating climate change.

Mr. Creencia rediscovered the last seagrass ecosystem of Cavite in February 2020. According to him, there are seven seagrass species present in the coastal waters of Maragondon. Moreover, the University also initiated conservation efforts through ex-situ seagrass propagation and transplantation.

In response, Ms. Judaline A. Fabro, Assistant Management Services Division Chief and in-charge of the Office of DENR-PENRO Cavite, and Mr. Noah M. Caasi, Municipal Administrator of LGU Maragondon, delivered their pledge of acceptance and commitment to the utilization of these research outputs in the development of their data-driven policies.听(with report from CAFENR and Research Center)
