The 2019 Pre- Employment Seminar was conducted by OSAS together with the College Placement Coordinators last October 16, 2019 at the CvSU International Convention Center.

The main objective of the activity is to help our graduating students more prepare and knowledgeable as they enter the world of work.

There were one thousand eight hundred twenty graduating students (1, 820) who attended the said event:

As the seminar started, Dr. Camilo A. Polinga, Vice President for Academic Affairs rendered his Welcoming Remarks and Inspirational Message.

Three interesting and informative topics were discussed by three knowledgeable and equipped notable resource speakers. They were Mr. Kim Chua, Managing Director of Jobs180.com from Pasig City. Mr. Chua discussed, 鈥淩esume Preparation, Personality Development, and Tips for Interview鈥�. Ms. Ruth Arevalo and Engr. Carlo Merilos, both Senior Labor Employment Officer from the Department of Labor and Employment, Trece Martires City discussed about 鈥淏asic Labor Rights and In Demand Occupations鈥�.

The Office of Student Affairs and Services has successfully conducted the Job Fair 2019 at the University Gymnasium last April 25, 2019, 8am to 5pm. It was participated by sixty (86) companies and schools and three thousand one hundred eleven (3,111) graduating students. It was also the first time that Pag-Ibig Fund and Social Security System joined with the Philhealth in which they process the student鈥檚 registration for membership with the respective government agencies.

Another milestone of the Office of Student Affairs and Services together with the College Placement Coordinators for the event benefited the students a lot. In fact, many of our graduating students will be hired right after their graduation.
