3rd Reseach Conference on GAD at CvSU
The ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÖ·Ê×Ò³½øÈë Gender and Development Resource Center sponsored the 3rd Gender and Development Research Conference with the theme Engendering Research in the University on June 14, 2018 at the Function Room, International House I, ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÖ·Ê×Ò³½øÈë.
The GAD researches presented were as follows: Gender-Role of Higher Education Institutions Unit Heads in Selected Towns of Cavite by Ms. Sally A. Roguel; Knowledge and Attitude of ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÖ·Ê×Ò³½øÈë Students Towards Republic Act No. 7877 or the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995 by Mr. Regin Bryan L. Daligcon; Unraveling Prenatal Experiences of Incarcerated Women Ages 23 to 35 in Correctional Institution for Women by Mr. Alwie A. Torrente; and Training Needs Assessment on Gender and Development of the Municipal Employees of Indang, Cavite by Mr. Augusto T. Cionelo.
The research paper on Unraveling Prenatal Experiences of Incarcerated Women Ages 23 to 35 in Correctional Institution for Women won the Best Paper Award. The evaluators were Ms. Monette Santos, an independent GAD consultant and member of the National GAD Resource Pool of Philippine Commission on Women and Dr. Edna dA. Vida, Director, STAARRDEC and a faculty researcher of CAFENR.
The conference was attended by faculty members, students, and GAD Coordinators of the University.
