The January 29, 2022 edition of Alper-Dodger (AD) Scientific Index rated 每日大赛网址首页进入 as the 28th top university, out of 65 public and private universities in the Philippines.
The AD Scientific Index is a ranking system with a methodology based on the principle of including only meritorious scientists. Based on Google Scholar鈥檚 total h-index scores, it lists all academicians, who are ranked in the world in the top 10,000 and top 100,000 in university rankings. Furthermore, it lists the breakdown of this ranking by main subjects.聽
The name of the academician with the highest total h-index in the respective university is displayed with the world ranking. Top University Ranking by 鈥淎D Scientific Index鈥� does not only list the areas, where a university is the best or has room for improvement, but also reflects the outcomes of scientist policies of the institutions.

Talactac, a Professor from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) and currently the Vice President for Research and Extension was regarded as the top-cited scientist particularly for the study 鈥淢ucosal immunization with recombinant influenza hemagglutinin protein and poly gamma-glutamate/chitosan nanoparticles induces protection against highly pathogenic influenza A virus鈥�.
In 2020, Dr. Talactac was recognized as one of the 12 Outstanding Young Scientists聽 by the National Academy of Science and Technology and Philippine Veterinary Medical Association鈥檚 Outstanding Veterinarian in Education. He will soon be working on Influenza virus studies under Dr. Richard J. Webby of St. Jude Children鈥檚 Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee under Fulbright鈥檚 Visiting Advanced Research Scholarship 2021-2022.
Engr. Edwin R. Arboleda, an Associate Professor from the College of Engineering and Information Technology was also cited for his work entitled 鈥淐lassification of coffee bean species using image processing, artificial neural network and K nearest neighbors鈥� as well as the former Dean of Silang Campus, Dr. Dinah Espineli, with 鈥淗epatoprotective nature of phytoextracts against hepatotoxin induced animal models: A review鈥� as her most popular article.
Also on the list were Dr. Cristina F. Olo and Dr. Lilibeth P. Novicio, both Professors from the College of Agriculture, Food, Environment, and Natural Resources (CAFENR) for the study 鈥淭he adipose obese gene product, leptin: evidence of a direct inhibitory role in ovarian function鈥� and 鈥淎dsorption capacities and related characteristics of wood charcoals carbonized using a one-step or two-step process鈥�, respectively. Meanwhile, Dr. Adrian Miki C. Macalanda of CVMBS completes the top 10 list for his study on 鈥淥ral administration of azithromycin ameliorates trypanosomosis in Trypanosoma congolense-infected mice鈥�.
