ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÖ·Ê×Ò³½øÈë (CvSU) hosted the Covenant of Understanding Ceremonial Signing with the Philippine-Canada Education Consortium (PhilCanEDUCON) for International Collaborative Partnerships on Innovations for Inclusive Global Engagements at the CvSU Hostel Tropicana, December 9, 2025.

On behalf of CvSU President Dr. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro, the participants were welcomed by Dr. Almira G. Magcawas, Vice President for Business and Resource Generation; Dr. Cristina M. Signo, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Mr. John Xavier B. Nepomuceno, Vice President for Administrative and Support Services; Dr. Melbourne R. Talactac, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension; and Dr. Mary Jane D. Tepora, Vice President for Planning and Development.

The ceremony was jointly led by Dr. Marlowe U. Aquino, Executive Director of PhilCanEDUCON Infin8, and Dr. Merian Catajay-Mani, President of Romblon State University and Network Chairperson of PhilCan Infin8. As a consortium composed of 21-member higher education institutions (both SUCs and private HEIs) across the Philippines, PhilCan Infin8 continues to strengthen its collaborative network through international partnerships.

Also present were distinguished university presidents including Dr. Gemma G. Acedo, President of Catanduanes State University; Dr. Boyet L. Batang, President of Isabela State University; Dr. Elbert M. Galas, President of Pangasinan State University; and Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna, President of the University of Northern Philippines.

Institutional representatives likewise graced the ceremony, such as Dr. Vivian C. Peligro of Agusan del Sur College of Agriculture and Technology; Dr. Raquelyn J. Dadang of Central Mindanao University; Mr. Mer Jun Q. Cañas of Davao del Norte State College; Mr. Lilito Gavina of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University; Dr. Analyn C. Españo of Eastern Visayas State University; Dr. Mee Jay A. Domingo of Mariano Marcos State University; Atty. Dexter C. Lingbanan of Mountain Province State University; Ms. Rosalle A. Dizon of Saint Paul University; and Dr. Connie Aunario of the Technological University of the Philippines.

Mr. Andrew J. Siducon, Linkage Coordinator of the CvSU Graduate School and Open Learning College, served as the moderator during the event.
