Employees, students, partners recognized during CvSU@120 celebration

每日大赛网址首页进入 (CvSU) celebrated academic excellence, exceptional public service, and strengthened collaborative partnerships for development during the Gawad Laya at Diwa and Partners鈥� Recognition Day, January 28, at the International Convention Center.

As one of the highlights of the CvSU鈥檚 120th founding anniversary celebration, CvSU annually recognizes students, employees, retirees, organizational units, administrators, and partner agencies who demonstrated excellence, service, and meaningful achievements that help empower lives and communities.聽

鈥淲ith the theme 鈥楢SCEND with Truth, Integrity, Excellence, and Service: The Heart of CvSU鈥檚 120-Year Legacy,鈥� we are reminded that our University鈥檚 story is not measured by time alone, but by the values we uphold, the lives we transform, and the service we render to society,鈥� said CvSU President Dr. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro in her message.聽

In his keynote speech, Bacoor City Mayor Strike B. Revilla emphasized that CvSU鈥檚 120 years of truth, integrity, excellence, and service is no small feat.

鈥淪a loob ng mahigit isang siglo, napatunayan ng CvSU na ang tunay na edukasyon ay hindi lamang tungkol sa paglikha ng mga propesyonal, kundi sa paghubog ng mga liders at mamamayan na may malasakit sa ating bayan,鈥� Mayor Revilla said.

鈥淭oday, we celebrate not only the past, but the future. Ang 每日大赛网址首页进入 ay patuloy na magiging ilaw ng kaalaman, haligi ng integridad, at tahanan ng mga bagong bayani ng bayan,鈥� Mayor Revilla added.

University officials along with Mayor Revilla led in recognizing the employees and retirees who dedicated years of loyal service to CvSU, and demonstrated their perseverance and selfless commitment to go above and beyond the call of duty.聽

CvSU also honored its partner agencies whose support and collaboration has strengthened the institution鈥檚 instruction, research, extension, and innovation initiatives. The awardees include Commission on Population and Development CALABARZON, Municipality of Alfonso, Municipality of Amadeo, National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, Philippine Coconut Authority, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, University of the Philippines Manila, Pasay Harbor City Corporation, Verde Carbon Capture Inc., and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources IV-A.

The top performing colleges and campuses recognized by the Professional Regulation Commission as well as CvSU鈥檚 board topnotchers also took the spotlight 鈥� affirming the University鈥檚 excellence in agriculture, social work, medical technology, criminology, veterinary medicine, and teacher education.聽

Meanwhile, Mr. Joseph Luke Emmanuel M. Ongliongco, a fourth year Bachelor of Science in Psychology student from the Bacoor Campus and currently the Deputy Student Regent of the Federation of Central Student Government, received the Most Outstanding Student of the Year award for consistently demonstrating exceptional academic and leadership skills, serving as role model to his fellow students.聽

Lastly, the CvSU Gawad Laya at Diwa Program PRAISE Awards honored distinguished faculty members, non-teaching employees, administrators, and organizational units that demonstrated strategic leadership, academic excellence, exemplary dedication to work, and significant contributions that create lasting impact to the University and the communities it serves:
