With this year鈥檚 theme 鈥15 years of Strengthening the Philippine TISCs: Innovation and Creativity Toward Sustainable Technology Transfer,鈥 the ITSO Presidents鈥 Summit is a high-level gathering for Presidents and institutional heads intended to highlight leadership, strategic direction, and strengthened partnership with IPOPHL.
This activity also recognizes ITSOs with exemplary contributions to innovation, intellectual property (IP) filings, and technology transfer.
In 2015, CvSU’s ITSO officially became part of the IPOPHL network. In 2017, the ITSO was institutionalized and established as a dedicated unit within the university’s KMC.
The CvSU ITSO has evolved significantly since its establishment, becoming a key driver of IP and innovation at the University, culminating in its repeated receipt of the highest national awards.
Through these years, the University鈥檚 ITSO has demonstrated a commitment to fostering innovation and protecting intellectual property, consistently receiving national recognition from the IPOPHL for its performance and output. The office works closely with the KMC to manage intellectual property and facilitate technology transfer. (with report from the Knowledge Management Center)
