This activity aims to cascade updates on gender mainstreaming to ensure informed and capable dissemination within campus, college, and units; and assess past gender mainstreaming efforts and align activities with institutional and national priorities. The event also shared the key learnings and reflections from the recently concluded Women Empowerment and Leadership in Agriculture (WELA) 2025 and use these insights as a foundation for preparing and aligning institutional initiatives with the goals of WELA 2026.
The meeting also sought to develop action plans focused on addressing gender-specific challenges and promoting inclusivity, and integrate the GAD TW Meeting to further strengthen the GAD mainstreaming initiatives of respective campus, college, and unit within the university.

The meeting began with the presentation of the Director’s Report by Dr. Dela Cruz where she highlighted various activities and programs attended and participated by the GADRC in the last quarter.
This was followed by the presentation of Accomplishment Report of the conducted activities of the college, campus, and units, Plan of Activities for the next quarter, and 2026 GAD Plan and Budget discussed by GAD Coordinators from various colleges, campuses, and units.
