每日大赛网址首页进入 (CvSU) – Gender and Development Resource Center (GADRC) and in partnership with CvSU MOVE KATROPA, formally welcomed delegates from Tarlac State University鈥檚 (TSU) Office of Gender and Development (OGAD) and MOVE KATROPA for a benchmarking activity held last August 11, 2025.

The event, led by Dr. Ma. Cynthia Rundina-Dela Cruz, Director of the GADRC, served as a dynamic platform for fostering collaboration, exchanging expertise, and reinforcing commitments to gender-responsive development.
Ms. Ellaine E. Todoc, GADRC staff, showcased CvSU鈥檚 best practices anchored on the Philippine Commission on Women鈥檚 (PCW) four entry points of the Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework鈥攕erving as the institutional blueprint for gender mainstreaming. She also outlined the university policies that reinforced GADRC initiatives, enabling mechanisms that foster stakeholder鈥檚 engagement, and implemented programs, activities, and projects promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion across the university.

A key highlight of the program was the open forum, where both universities engaged in substantive dialogue on the proper utilization of the GAD budget; the integration of GAD in research, extension, and infrastructure through the Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG) tool; embedding GAD perspectives into the curriculum; and adopting gender-affirmative uniforms for students. These discussions translated institutional mandates into concrete and actionable strategies.

Further enriching the exchange, Dr. Dela Cruz together with Asst. Prof. King David J. Agreda, President of CvSU MOVE KATROPA (NGRP); Ms. Raecel A. Estebat, Head of the Training and Courseware Development Division, Extension Services (CGRP); and Ms. Thea Maries P. Perez, Mr. Richard P. Perez and Mr. Leonard V. Paunil, CvSU MOVE KATROPA officers, in presenting the University鈥檚 gender advocacy initiatives, enabling mechanisms, and implementation strategies.
The activity concluded with a renewed sense of purpose, as both institutions reaffirmed their shared commitment to champion gender equality and inclusive development. In her closing remarks, Dr. Dela Cruz emphasized that 鈥淕ender and Development is not the work of a few鈥攊t is the collective responsibility of the entire University.鈥 (by Ellaine E. Todoc)
