ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÖ·Ê×Ò³½øÈë (CvSU), through its Gender and Development Resource Center (GADRC), formally welcomed delegates from Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) for a benchmarking activity held on October 7, 2025.
The event, spearheaded by Dr. Ma. Cynthia Rundina-Dela Cruz, Director of GADRC, served as a meaningful platform to strengthen collaboration, exchange insights, and reinforce both institutions’ commitment to advancing gender-responsive development.

Mr. King David J. Agreda, a member of the National GAD Resource Pool Batch 9, presented CvSU’s exemplary practices anchored on the Philippine Commission on Women’s (PCW) four entry points of the Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework (GMEF), which serves as the institutional guide for gender integration. He also discussed university policies supporting GADRC initiatives, enabling mechanisms that promote stakeholder engagement, and the various programs, activities, and projects that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion across the institution.
One of the program’s highlights was the open forum, where representatives from both universities actively exchanged ideas and shared effective strategies for gender mainstreaming. The discussion transformed institutional commitments into actionable approaches, fostering a deeper understanding of gender advocacy in higher education.

CvSU and SLSU collectively reaffirmed their dedication to advancing gender equality and fostering inclusive development through sustained partnership, collaboration, and knowledge exchange. Both universities recognized the importance of continuous dialogue and capacity-building efforts in enhancing their respective GAD programs. This shared commitment underscores their mutual aspiration to institutionalize gender-responsive practices, empower stakeholders, and contribute meaningfully to the broader national agenda on gender equality and social transformation.
