ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÖ·Ê×Ò³½øÈë (CvSU) – Gender and Development Resource Center (GADRC) held a Stakeholders’ Meeting on September 30, 2025, at the GADRC Training Room, Indang, Cavite.

The activity began with the distribution of community needs assessment questionnaires, facilitated by GADRC personnel, who also provided a detailed discussion to ensure participants’ understanding.

Ms. Raecel A. Estebat presented and interpreted the results of the Community Needs Assessment conducted among the residents of Brgy. Kayquit II, highlighting key challenges and priorities in livelihood, health and wellness, peace and order, and family development. She also outlined proposed projects and activities to address these concerns, emphasizing collaboration between GADRC and barangay stakeholders to ensure relevance, inclusivity, and sustainability.

During the open forum, Mr. Isaias Banaag raised concerns regarding the long-term sustainability of the proposed initiatives. Ms. Estebat assured that both GADRC and the barangay stakeholders would share accountability in maintaining the Programs, Activities, and Projects (PAPs) through continuous coordination, monitoring, and shared ownership. Stakeholders also expressed the need for additional educational discussions on peace and order and responsible parenthood.

In response, the GADRC committed to strengthening inter-college collaboration within CvSU by engaging various colleges to lead and implement programs and activities that will be further discussed and refined in subsequent meetings. The University, through the GADRC, in partnership with the stakeholders of Brgy. Kayquit II, will jointly implement the identified community development initiatives. Through sustained coordination, capacity building, and participatory engagement, this partnership aims to foster inclusive growth, enhance community empowerment, and promote long-term social development within Brgy. Kayquit II. (by Lynnette M. Tecson)
